On 4 February 2003, My brother Stephen Sutton, age 41, was arrested in Argentina. He was arrested in a joint Australian Federal Police/Argentine police operation in Buenos Aires. Our family are still fighting to discover how our youngest brother, a gentle, kind, loving and loyal man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking. He was incarcerated for 2 1/2 years without being charged and I believe he almost died, he was so ill at one point. He was finally convicted of drug trafficking, and sentenced to 11 years in an Argentine prison. This conviction was despite ANY drugs being found on Stephen or in his hotel at the time of the raid. Moreover, At the age of 15, Stephen was diagnosed with a head tumour. He had surgery which left him with severe headaches and required 5 years of further treatment. After a long recovery he was further traumatised by the death of our mother when he was just 20 and retraumatised upon the death of our father two years later. This fact alone suggests it is more likely that, if indeed there is ANY connection between Stephen Sutton and the drug trade. |

Hi, my name is Allen, aka Tripper. I’m in federal prison and here is what I have to say. I look out the window at the tall fence with razor wire on top. I see the moon. Sometimes it’s full, sometimes it’s not. I look at it and wonder…is there someone out there looking at this very same moon at this very same moment? Join us as we explore Allen's past as well as his current Experience behind bars. |

Where is the Justice for me? In 1989 I surrendered myself to the police for crimes I knew I was innocent of in an effort to seek justice through the court system in Savannah, Georgia USA. But like so many death penalty cases, that was not my fate and I have been denied justice. During my imprisonment I have lost more than my freedom, I lost my father and my family has suffered terribly, many times being treated as less than human and even as criminals. In the past I have had lawyers who refused my input, and would not represent me in the manner that I wanted to be represented. I have had witnesses against me threatened into making false statements to seal my death sentence and witnesses who wanted to tell the truth were vilified in court. |

This is a website designed to bring exposure, hope, and relief to federal inmate GEORGE MARTORANO. George has spent 24+ years of his LIFE NO PAROLE sentence in federal prison for NON-VIOLENT drug crimes. George, dispite his sentence, has mantained hope that he will someday receive the "SECOND CHANCE" he has earned, and so deserves. While we advocate for George Martorano's freedom, we also speak for the thousands and thousands of others within the walls that have also received harsh unjust sentences. Change is needed. Sentencing has FILLED our prison system beyond capacity. While the crime rate has actually fallin, the incarceration rate keeps soaring-why?? because of SENTENCING. |
