I asked for a 4th Qtr delivery. I was assured that could be done. The package was not shipped until 28 Dec 07. The likelihood of delivery in time is improbable,and when I called the company "Beth" gave me a "thank you for calling", and essentially hung up on me. I'll not use them again. I have used access since 2000 and they have worked very well for this family,as there are several family members in different prisons in California.They have a catalog that the inmates get and family members can get it too so that you can make sure that who you are sending the pkg. to knows just what they will be getting cuz you can compare.As for Vic I must say that you ordered during the holidays and since it was shipped Dec.28 it is still supposed to be considered a 4th qtr. pkg.File a grievience if it wasnt. I Used Access Secure Pak to order a spring package for my son in DOC in Virginia. The package cost me a little more then $90.00. He was transferred to another DOC prior to receiving his package. I have called the DOC that the package was sent to and they said they never got a package for him. So, I am unsure where the mix up was but I will not use them again. I ordered over the phone. I first was going to order over the internet and changed my mind. I was given a confirmatoin number and mailed them a money order. So, he received nothing and I lost my money. I will not use the service again unless I get an answer as to what happened. I am not sure if the prison was at fault or the company.

I used Access Securepak for the first and last time to try to send a 4th quarter package. I ordered the package on November 16th 2008 and the money has already been drafted out of my account. However, it is not Dec. 29th and when I track the confirmation number on their website it still says it is pending shipping from their facility. The worst part is the only available phone listing for them continually says that all circuits are busy until the business hours are over! It's bad enough having a loved one in the prision system during the holidays but then to get scammed on top of it is outrageous! Thanks to the prison facility that suggested this ervice!!!

I had the same problem! I ordered a variety of items for my boyfriend in Washoe County. Prior to the online order on December 23, 2009, I was assureded over the phone that the package would reach him by New Years Eve. Tracking the package on their website, it has yet to be shipped, and New Years Eve is over! I have used Access Securepak twice before and they did not let me down, but I was relying on them to get the package to the jail on time. The failed to do so have assuring me. And to add on to this, the order was shown on my bank account and money was taken out, but checking today, there is nothing about the order shown. I am not sure what has happened as the order disappeared on my account, but their website still says that the order is pending shipping.
