Ask A Convict is a free prison pen pal site where you can find pen pals who are in prison. If you prefer you can also write a panel of Convicts and ask them any question you want. Ask about prison life, ask for advice or even ask personal questions. There also is a huge question and answer page of all past questions. To sign up an inmate It costs 25$ a year for basic or 35$ for their own page.

This is the only site that I know of that actualy guarentees the inmate mail or extends their profile for free. Plus they have a 10% referal fee that they will pay in stamps or cash. My brother has gotten a bunch of mail.
