Florida Visiting Day
This company provides transportation for families of inmates in one region of Florida to the inmates in correctional institutions in another region of Florida and back again. The company will provide charter bus rides from the South Florida area to institutions in the Central and Northern regions of Florida, from the Orlando area to the Southern and Northern regions of Florida, and from the Northern region to the Central and Southern regions of Florida.
There seems to be no other service of this type in the state of Florida that inmates and their families may utilize to continue strong family ties and relationships between parents and children or between spouses during the time of incarceration. Due to the fact that many inmates are incarcerated so far from their homes, visitation becomes a burden to the families and is usually rarely or never used. Families ties and relationships are weaken and sometimes destroyed leaving the inmate disconnected from the support system they need while incarcerated and for re-entry into the community. This service will lighten the burden of visitation on the families and inmates by providing affordable and stress free transportation to and from the various institutions.
